Royal Mail cheaper on Parcel Rates

In recent years parcel carriers have looked to beat Royal Mail on prices to gain business. However, with the recent round of price increases by independent carriers, the Royal Mail is now coming out as the cheapest option for many bands of parcel rates.

Example
For a Small Parcel up to 1kg, the Royal Mail are the cheapest on the market at only £2.25 per parcel. Other carriers will charge at least £1.95 more to send an item at this weight.

FP Southern would advise any business that sends large volumes of parcels to evaluate their costs to see if they can save money by switching carriers.
